Solved IE immediately crashes.

I dont know if it was an update or something else causing IE(10 & 11) to immediately crash on opening. I have uninstalled, reinstalled both 10 then 11 and it still does it. I cleared all data, reset -everything- back to defaults, and it still crashes immediately. As soon as the window opens, the Restore previous sessions block opens at the bottom, and I try really quickly to hit the X to cancel it, but "Stopped working" window opens, then the Click to close box, while Windows finds and answer.. really frustrated and it's doing it... (light bulb) on nearly all my .. dammit.. it's an update isnt it?
I also ran ESET, Malwarebytes and Avast virus/malware/spyware scans, all three clean.

How can I find which update did this?

I have disabled -everything- and I do mean everything.

all add-ons are disabled. Every single add-on, toolbar, search engine is disabled. Cleared all temp files in User accts.

Troubleshooting steps did nothing.

Switch to Software rendering,

Well, you'll have to mark this one down as a solution.. ran a SFC scan of the drive, I guess it found file errors (ran unattended). Windows restarted, clicked on IE, opened and runs with no problems now. Who knew??!!

Update. It wasn't just a disk/file error.

IE11 immediately crashes because of Avast Web Shield.​

Disable it and IE has no problems. Repeatedly open/close, with Avast Web Shield disabled, no problems. Enable Web Shield and it repeatedly crashes instantly. And I discovered it is doing the same on multiple computers here, they -all- scanned clean with multiple stand-alone and online scanners. And there are no problem with Chrome or Firefox.

Avast has a bad history with ie10 - and I suppose now ie11 not sure about ie9 though most likely so ?

This solution worked for me -- THANK SO MUCH -- What exactly does that mean though? lol Is my video card going bad or something?

Hi thanks for the update,
Well not really going out but definitely in need of a updated driver,
Usually you can find the best driver from the card maker but you can go to the computer manufactures website as well,
If you have trouble ask in the Graphics section of the forum there're many helpful people to help you find one,
