I am on a school cumputer and can't get IE10 to work, but I am able to get on FireFox and Chrome, when I click IE, it says Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access this item. This computer is Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and it also used to work when it had IE8 on it, but the computer shut down and installed IE10, please help thanks

I am having the same problem; I cannot even get into the Advanced tab of Internet Options to do a Reset. I'm not a true believer in coincidence, but Outlook is also not loading correctly. I am running Win7Pro(32bit).

Welcome to the Seven Forums.

Since IE10 probably was installed via Windows Updates...

@techtitan100,
Please contact the school's IT department and let them handle the issue.
If they need help, then they can create a thread here :-)

I am actually in high school, so I will have to have my teacher call the IT department and plus I only use the computer one period each day and go in and use it sometimes after school, and other students use it to so they have to use FireFox
