MIA
Hello again.
Noticed another thing. After a clean install, IE8 works fine. But when you start installing Skype or Windows Live Messenger, they add a couple of add-ons in IE and then the crashes start. I open google as my homepage, IE crashes.
I open anything as my homepage, IE crashes (btw, it has a nice feature of trying to re-open the crashed page 2 times, then it stops trying giving you an error)
The solution to that was to disable the add-ons of skype and msn.Don't know if it has problems with other add-ons, but the same thing happened to 2 of my PCs that I installed Windows 7.Right after msn and skype installation.
Another problem I found, is that some antivirus programs, (particularly Avira Antivir Personal Edition Free), which worked fine in Vista, when installed, it blocks all the downloads!
When the download finishes, it doesn't let it to be written/copied on the hard disk from the temporary files.Happened to all the downloads and crashed IE in every page that was an image (e.g. google). Removing it solved it, I hope it's just this particular antivirus that does this.
Regards,
Limneos
