ie9 all of a sudden will not open secure sites like my Lastpass site or sign in to Evernote. I have enabled SSL 2 & 3 and the three TLS's in an attempt to fix it, but still the same.

Does it work from Firefox or Google Chrome? I only ask for a second browser test because IE uses the SSL engine built into the OS (schannel.dll, specifically), whereas both Firefox and Google Chrome use their own SSL repositories. This would at least tell us if it was an IE issue, or an issue upstream from your machine.

Yes Chrome and Firefox work fine. I should have said that. I was thinking of doing a system restore to where I feel is before the problem started. I am however curious as to why it started. I hardly ever use ie.

Fixed One Site Today

I had a site that would not come up. Tried several things even some of what is mentioned in this thread. Simple little thing fixed it. Tools --> PopUpBlocker --> PopUpBlocker Settings and add the site to the list. You might try it.

Thanks I did a System Restore which solved the problem; even though the System Restore gave the message that the restore was unsuccessful and no system files were changed.
