I have now loaded ie9rc which now seems to be working quite well apart from compatibillity problems on quite a few sites causing the program to crash, because of this I have ticked the "Display all websites in compatibillity mode" box in the tools section. All websites now appear to load and display ok.
My question is, does ticking this box effect the speed or functions of IE9?, if not why have it.

Compatibilty mode is for the Browser to Display images on a webpage correctly for sometimes Newer Browsers can not display older webpages so Compatibility mode is supposed to Fix it for you

Hope This Helps,
Josh

Experience it for yourself ....leave Comp.mode on and try to open few web sites see if it affects any thing ..
