Solved Replacing the whole "Precision Touchpad" module to make it compatible?

It started with just the touchpad, but now I see that getting this piece of plastic to work may just be a waste of money
.

I could actually buy a decent Windows 7 Laptop

that is another way to go.

I'm not gonna give up that easily.
I've just ordered 51G's touchpad module. It'll come in approximately 5 days and let's just hope for the best, I guess...

Well nevermind. It was just a waste of time and money. The touchpad wasn't detected by Windows 7 neither 10. I guess I'll just buy a wireless mouse and try to get used to it.
