I want to see Chromium tap into GPU acceleration of text/images with OpenGL.
As far as security IE8 has Protected Mode, SmartScreen filter, Cross-side scripting filter, and I think sand-boxed processes per tab.
I'm not sure what security features Chromium has but it would be nice to compare side-by-side with IE8.
