May be you can check the add-on for the browser and the settings for it,
there may be some of the components problem that cause the browser to crash.

If you would like to know which part is getting wrong to cause the crash,
you can check on your Windows Event Viewer, and check the recent crashes.
Sometimes you might find the source that cause the crash, and you might find a solution for that.

I have similar problems, I have Internet Explorer 9 RC in Windows 7 Ultimate Spanish, I have unistalled and reainstalled again, also reset all features to default values. But it hangs after few minutes, it shows messages about problems loading pages, and after that CPU reach 100%.

Is there any solution or is a normal problem most of the people is getting ... I have been trying it since firts beta ... but now I am becoming a chrome user ... it seems that IE9 RC is not ready enought.

I have uninstall IE9 in windows 7. I hope that in final version will not problem.
PS : IE8 running normally.
I think that problem can come to the drivers graphic card because IE9 used the processor of graphic card. It's possible. If it's the case, the problem could appear also with the new version of Opera, firefox etc.....

Just checked and can only find a lot of these:-

Description
The program iexplore.exe version 9.0.8080.16413 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel.

Application Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
Report Id:

They are on both my PC & Laptop. The only add-ons that are enabled are Adobe Flash, Bing & Google search and NO Accelerators or Tracking protection.

I have installed IE9 final version at home and at work. At work it works perfectly, with a windows 7 Professional 32 bits. At work it continues working wrong, I have installed latest version of adobe flash player, but IE9 hangs after few seconds with a cpu use of 100%. At home I have a Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits, and I have problems with both IE9 32 and 64 versions.

Is there any problem with 64 bits versions of Windows 7?

I can only say that since the RTM version came out I'm no longer having the problem I stated in the 1st post. I have not had any problems either with Win7 64 bit versions.

Oh ok. In France the english courses are very bad. I tend to translate literally from French to English or to some quirk I guess.
So for problem with IE9 I have reinstall windows 7 but not only for this reason, also besause it became unusable and very low.
