If driver is no availeble

Hello,

I have rebuild a Windows xp computer to Windows 7. Only there is a part, USB, that gives problems. when i install it, it is good, works fine. Only, when i log off or restart the computer i get error 31.Error 31 means you need update the driver. He has lost his driver. Only the comagny from the part, don't have drivers for windows 7.(no updates) Is there another possibillity to solve this problem and how? The part is a USB Relay Controller with 6-Channel I/O.
Please help me......

Is there Vista drivers? Vista drivers are Win 7 compatible.
You can also try installing the driver using the Windows XP "Compatibility" mode.

Hello. The hardware is like a webcam. It doesn't have really software. So, i can't change the compability??? Is there another possibillity? No vista drivers availble. It is just a simple i/o controller.

Considering the low cost of web cams, the best option is to just connect and use a Win 7 unit.

It is not a webcam. It is a I/O controller from canakit. But it is not simple to replace it. So is there another possibility to set the driver hard.?

No other option that I know. Many older devices are not compatible and unfortunately the only option is to replace them with compatible devices.
