IF Icons Are Gone From Desktop -TIP-

This little tip will help if you ever logged onto a computer and all the icons are gone from the desktop.


ICON DATABASE REBUILD.

Firstly right click the desktop > View > make sure the Shop desktop Icons is check if it is then follow these steps
if its not checked then check it and if your icons come back then GREAT!
if not then follow these steps

Windows key + r for RUN - CMD
or open run box. - CMD

Then Type The Following Code And Hit Enter

ie4uinit.exe -ClearIconCache

Then Type And Hit Enter

taskkill /IM explorer.exe /F

Then Type And Hit Enter

DEL "%localappdata%\IconCache.db" /A

Then Type And Hit Enter

shutdown /r /f /t 00

Computer will restart and icons should be back.


The IconCache.db file has now been rebuilt.

No my way is if there are no ICONS what so ever like theres nothing be displayed blank screen. nothing

Good info
You should add "Tip" to the end of the titles and any additional ones you do
I believe they will stick out more

One other thing when you write "Then" describe what that actually means = enter key... ?
Also I would suggest using the code boxes # to add strings so it's easier to copy and paste the string without the forum editor getting in the way or possibly interfering,
