IL 2 Sturmovik won't load

You want to run the a.exe as Administrator. When it asks you were to install it, do not put it in Program Files or Program File (x86), this will stop it working. You want to put it into C:\IL2 or something similar.

Then download the file archive, 4.0mb.

Edit: I have no idea why that says Rayman 4. Link is correct.

ok just finished the instal to c:IL2FB file on the hard drive not in programms folders and still no go is it earo stopping the load?

ok have the RAR file need to get RAR program to unzip it speak again soon

i get the dvd spinning up the cursur changes to spinning disc the to blue cirle then back to pointer ......then nothing its like ist trying to load but something keeps bloking it in the background

ok, when you get winrar, firstly, go into where ever you installed IL2, fing the IL2FB.exe, and rename it to orig_IL2FB.exe - and then open the RAR, note the IL2FB.exe inside, and drag it into your IL2 folder.

You should now have both an orig_ILFB.exe and a IL2FB.exe.

frack, i reinstalled my il2 because of a new patch, and now i've run into the same problem as aussiegreen tried a nocd exe, but no joy

i despaired when i got my new whizzy pc and couldn't load Il Sturmovik - thanks to Novotny's advice eventuallu got it going

Looking for the fix for 4.09 i got it to work for 4.08 but when i upgraded to 9 it didnt work again? Please help thanks.
