It's not possible as far as I know.
In WSB it's at
Explorer & Shell > Explorer > TreeView > FillColor:Color

First let me say, DON'T EDIT THE AERO.MSSTYLE FILE UNTIL YOU DO SOME STUDYING OR YOU WILL CRASH AERO. The image is #781. Simply replace the it with your picture. A free program called "Resource Hacker" will allow you to work with your .msstyles. Sorry but image #781 is in the Basic mode part not Aero
