I am planning to purchase a new computer that runs Windows 7. The e-mail program in my old computer is Outlook2000. My e-mail provider is Earthlink.

I need to import all of my contacts and e-mail files from the old computer into Windows Live Mail on the new computer (I think that this is the current e-mail program supported by Microsoft). I also need to be sure that my existing Earthlink e-mail address will be the one that people will contact me on my new computer.

Is all this possible and how difficult will it be to do it myself?
