Initial image and backup screens too large to access the "next" button

I am starting up my granddaughter's computer whose hdd has been formatted. A fresh version of Window 7 has been put on the computer and I am trying to create the initial image on an external hdd and perform a backup. Both of these pop-up screens are too large vertically to access the "next" button. I can grab the header bar and drag the window up far enough to see that the buttons exist, but when I release the popup window, it "snaps" down out of sight each time.

Please supply a remedy for this program behavior.

Try changing the screen resolution. Just remember the old resolution settings.
Right click on a empty spot on the desktop and select Screen Resolution.

Try this:

Press Alt+Space and then press the letter M.

Now, use your arrow keys to move the window to where you want it.

Thank you, Layback Bear,

The answer you provided, ultimately, led to a solution to my problem.

Try changing the screen resolution. Just remember the old resolution settings.
Right click on a empty spot on the desktop and select Screen Resolution.

When I right-clicked on a blank area of the desktop and selected "Screen Resolution", I was only offered one option-- 640x480 (and it was "grayed out"). I went into the Control Panel and finally got options to change the screen resolution. I picked the highest resolution and "was off to the races".

Thank you for providing direction in such a timely way.
