I have the Freemake Video Converter, version 4.1.9, installed in my windows 7 laptop.
I want to load an older version, the 4.0.1, which I have preserved on a data disc.
The problem is, when I load the 4.0.1, all is looking good with the install until at the last moment the software turns into Freemakes very latest version of the software, which I do not want!
It has been suggested to me that my pc probably has a "Freemake Homing Bug" of some kind, somewhere inside my pc, which is updating the older software into the very latest, when I try to install(?)
Can anyone tell me, in step by step fashion, how to locate and remove this "Freemake Homing Bug" and make it possible to load the 4.0.1, from the data disc, please?
