Install hangs

P5GGD1-FM (M board)
P4 3.4Gb
3Gb RAM
WinxP Home 32Bit
NVIDIA (800GT

Student Download 64Bit Pro.

Finally managed to burn ISO to DVD using ImgBurn at 2x

After booting from the DVD it hangs on a blue screen with squiggles and a dove on the right hand side.

I've re-burnt the CD and still get the same

Any ideas?

Please fill in your system specs as it is very important for this issue.

You may have to remove as much ram as you can, leaving only 1 stick in and then try to install.

In other cases, waiting at that screen you described, even for extended periods of time, has allowed for install for some users.

There was another thread with, it appears, the same type of problem and he said he went of and made dinner and came back and it had continued.

Maybe try giving it some more time.

Indeed, a little more patience was needed!!

Probably installed in about the same time it took for the 1st menu to appear!
