Hey people, I was just wondering if you could take a look at the image below and tell me where I'm going wrong?

Basically I want to delete the Extra G: partition and resize my primary C: windows 7 partition to accomdate this space. I'm unable to do so at the minute, even when G: becomes "Unallocated Space" I cant accomodate that space into my C: drive.

Any ideas on how I could solve this problem without completely wiping my whole hard disk? I've tried Acronis Disk Director but the problem remains..

Any help greatly appreciated thanks!

I've already tried it in disk management, just tried it in diskpart and it still doesnt work.

I typed 'list disk' and it tells me theres 96gb free.

I chose 'volume 2' which is my windows 7 volume, and then typed 'extend' and it said...

'Virtual Disk Service error:
The size of the extent is is less than the minimum.'

thanks for the help though. Did you check the image? Is it something to do with the 3 partitions following my windows 7 partition being 'extended partitions' (surrounded with the green outline) and my windows 7 partition being outside the green outline?

If so, is there any way to correct this? I can reinstall Windows 7 - I just dont want to lose the content on my other partitions.

Again, thanks.

Download EASEUS partition manager. It's free and I'm sure you'll be able to do whatever you want to without needing to read the help file.

I've tried Acronis Disk Director but the problem remains..

Sorry to write it again, but unfortunately Acronis Disk Director doesn’t support Windows 7 yet, though our developers are working hard on the update right now to make Disk Director better for you.
