Installing SSD on my laptop how do I instal W7 Pro.

I have a Samsung RV510 Laptop running 64 bit W7 home pre installed. It has 3GB Ram. I plan to install a SSD but with W7 Pro. Installing the drive is easy enough but what's the best option with W7 Pro. There appears to be lots of buying choices with big price differences. I dont understand much about what the differences are. Any and all advice welcome.

Also I want to use the W XP compatibility option that comes with W7 Pro would that affect my choices? Thanks

But Newegg/ Amazon has system builder channel software and they are about the only items worth looking at.
This one is sold and shipped by Amazon but is 32 bit since you only have 3gbs of ram would be best,

Here's a 64 bit not sold by Amazon though

Not sure why you need pro because Home premium is good too
But if you get hung on updating either refer to this

Thanks Thrash. Should have said I'm in the UK. I want Pro because of the XP compatibility option.

I would see if this machine is capable of adding more ram before using 64 bit personally
The minimum ram for 64 bit would be 4gbs not 3gbs
Use crucial upgrade scanner to see what it says

Yea a lot of people think 8gbs of ram would be best for 64 bit but personally 4gbs is a minimum to function well but it does depend greatly how much starts with windows and exactly what applications you want to run.
Any other performance gains can be found by using a ssd which you have wisely selected to use
