First time posting, so bare with me...

Okay, here's the deal: I recently installed W7 on my laptop. Absolutely, and I mean ABSOLUTELY no problems. SO, I decide to install it on my PC. Bad idea, I guess.

My computer keeps crashing. Once I run Winamp or get to multi-tasking, it crashes and reboots.

Recently, it's given me a "Solve PC Issues" message about my graphics card. So, I look into it. I can't find a Windows 7 driver for my graphics card and this is driving me nuts! Please, help!~

That is a chipset. After some research, I found the graphics card for the chipset was a 82945GC. Thanks for the correction anyways.

Wow, lol. The clue is in the title.

To the OP, you should monitor your system temps as that honestly sounds like a hardware fault.

I have no idea what you mean. o.o;

This is some info posted by a MSFT employee on TechNet about video drivers. I include a screenshot because I am not sure if you could access the link.

Your graphics card is compatible with Windows XP only. It may work on Seven, however it does not seem to with your computer. The drivers were not designed for Seven. It's like putting a square in a circle.

A possible solution is to use the Windows 7 provided drivers; don't install any of your drivers, or to get a Windows 7 compatible graphics card.

It could be an overheating problem; is there a lot of dust inside your computer's case, around it, or covering your computer?

No, actually, there isn't. I pretty much clean it out monthly.

No, the 945 chipset was released specifically to handle Aero, just fyi.

To OP: get the vista driver for the chipset and graphics from intels website, rather than WU. Also, run speedfan to monitor your temps.

Whenever I try to install the Vista driver it tells me I have the wrong OS for the installer. And, I will do teh speedfan thingie. Lol.

You follow the instructions provided by the Windows notification? Install the drivers in compatibility mode; right click context menu.

This is what the SpeedFan program gives me. Not for sure what you need to know, but this is a screenshot of the main program window. The CPU speed fluctuates a LOT, though. lol.

And, actually, I didn't even know that I could do that. Lol. Will get on it.

Okay, so I installed the Vista driver and it gave me the question in the attatchment, but I installed it, anyway. So, I rebooted so it would take effect and I did everything I could to make it crash. Didn't take long. No fix. ><;

Just noting that in your picture, your CPU temp is 127C. My jaw dropped. You need some more fan power. My CPU gets to that temp in Fahrenheit and i have to shut it off and let it cool.
