Intel i7 3770k or AMD 8350 or Intel i5 3570k?

Hey guys just want you're opinion really?

See, I have a AM3+ motherboard, and currently a FX 6200 clocked at 4.2GHz, thing is, I feel when I try to play say BF3 on a 32 man server, My pc run's smooth, yet come to a 64 man server, My PC feels sluggish and well fails. Now I know Its going to effect my FPS and CPU usage with what settings in game am I running, well Ultra I don't use I mainly use a mix of medium and high, to Me its all about performance before eye candy, but BF3 seems to have no performance boost the lower I turn the settings down, I mean with one card I get 98-99% usage but in SLI I get 50% on each card with v sync disabled and on ultra I have even tried with settings on low and enabling v sync, lol that is just worse! I have been told the higher the settings, the higher the usage, and my cpu seems to be lagging behind.

I know there is things to take into consideration like the Ram, Graphics, Hard drives, Lag ect, But I'm running two GTX 480's, 2 Velociraptor Hdd, 16GB Corsair Dominator Ram, a Corsair HX 1050w psu and Windows 8.

Come January I'm planning a upgrade, but what My dilemma is should I move to Intel has I feel my issue is a major bottleneck with the 480's and my CPU, I don't want to buy a £200 cpu (8350) and a few months down the line have to invest in a Intel because the Pile driver has failed like the Bulldozer did! Or just upgrade to a Intel i5 or i7, I mainly game but do video work as well, even considering getting a i7 2600k or 2700k, what do you guys think??

Sorry for the long post, but I would like to get some friendly advice from the Experts

Well Adam... Taking your situation into account i would suggest a Z77 mobo with a 3570k. This is the 'best' cpu/mobo combo for gaming. The i7 wont give a noticeable diffrence and some games may run a bit slower as games dont use hyperthreading. The 3570k wont bottleneck any card on the market(please correct me if im wrong). but you must take into account that you may need a single, higher end card would be beter than 2, mid end cards. Another strong point for i5 is the fact that it has an unlocked multiplier and can overclock to 4.2+ with a minimal voltage bump. I have disregarded the 8350 as even tough of its 8 cores. It was made for heavy threaded programs and only thing like photoshop would benifit from them. It is not optimised for gaming because of its poor single threaded performance compared to tge 3570k. Bottom line is, for the money... The 3570k is by far the best gaming processor but consider the single powerfull gpu as a possible upgrade as it will pay off in 'fps'

This is what i was thinking bud, 98% of the time i game, and have heard nothing but good reviews from the it, think you have just made my mind up for me lmao, thanks bro, has for the gpu, i am getting a used gtx 680 in a few months when the 780 comes out and a gtx 680 for £150 i would be stupid to say no lol, thats once again Pedroc

You will have one powerfull gaming rig if you get that. A 3570k and a Highend GTX Card. You cant go wrong!

Is the I5 3570k ok for gaming/fraps/Bandicam ect or 2700k or 3770k

Hey guys, ok was hoping someone here could shed some light on a dilemma I'm having? I have the money on January 25th to build my own first Intel Pc (I build them for a living but was always a AMD fanboy) I have £390 max to spend

Now I was torn between the I7 2700k with a Hyper 212 Coolermaster, ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 Intel Z77 Socket 1155 Motherboard, and the £10 delivery Charge or the I5 3570k with the Heatsink Coolermaster or i7 3770k with the same motherboard.

Now If I did buy the 3770k, I would have to use the stock heat sink until a month later to get some more funds and get one then, see why I have a few hundred quid knocking about I wanna try and get the best performance for my money, I run FRAPS & Bandicam and DXTory for live streaming sometimes, and I know when it comes to just gaming, the 4 virtual cores don't really do nothing, but I do a little bit of video work so I know this will be a slight advantage, but will fraps make use of the Hyper threading aswell?

Honestly I am being dragged towards the 2700k has it runs cooler, and overclocks abit better, but if I get the 3770k, why I aint gonna Overclock it for at least a month, do you think the stock speeds would bottleneck two GTX 480's?? in games like BF3 ect?
