Solved intel rapid storage technology boot error

I just got a GB Z68X-UD7-B3 mobo, and also a OCZ Agility 3 60GB SSD to go with it knowing about intel rapid storage technology (Smart Response Technology)
I basically followed the instructions for installation for installing windows for use with IRRT in the GB video on it, changing the "PCH SATA controller mode" to RAID(XHD) before installing windows...
did all that, got windows up and going with all my stuff (steam, Paint shop, GB drivers and full update etc) and then turned on IRRT and all worked perfectly fine until I restarted my PC, and got THIS during boot up... basically it seem that both the HDD and the SSD applicable are disabled and I'm not sure why... I need to go into the RAID setup and disable the acceleration before I can boot up windows...

I can't seem to find a similar issue anywhere... hence my post... I also tried installing EZ smart response to see if I could get it to work, but something is up with that... all it does is go to a splash screen with an up and down arrow in the center that do nothing...

I'm not good with RAID setups it's ma 1st time... any suggestions on what I can do?

I had a vaguely similar problem with the HTPC I just built up. I used a ZOTAC Z68ITX-B-E motherboard that supports this new Intel SRT. It has a mSATA on the underside of the motherboard where I installed an Intel 310 40GB SSD. My main drive is a SAMSUNG EcoGreen 4F 2T HDD. I also changed the BIOS for RAID before installing Windows on the SAMSUNG HDD. The Intel SSD was left blank. In the RAID BIOS, it shows both drives and indicates the SSD is the cache and the SAMSUNG is the "real" C: drive. This all worked well until I updated the main EFI BIOS. When I rebooted right after burning in the new BIOS, I forgot that the default drive configuration would be IDE, not RAID. When it tried to come up set for IDE, the SSD got scrambled and it wouldn't boot past loading the Intel RAID driver. The fix was to boot into the RAID BIOS and disable acceleration, and then delete the SSD from the RAID, reboot and add it back in being sure the main BIOS drive configuration was still set for RAID. I then was able to enable acceleration again in Windows and it has been working great.

You may need to use your RAID BIOS to disable acceleration and delete the SSD from the RAID, and then put it all back together as I did. No harm was caused to the Windows installation on the main C: drive through all of this.

for some reason, you need to RE-install the drivers a second time... I updated them on the 1st install early in my windows set up, kept updating windows and installing other programs etc and then the issue happened, go here and reinstall the latest drivers while Intel RST is off, and give it a go... works for me now, like a charm... so fast!
