Intermittant Network Connectivity

Hi all,

Using Win 7 SP1 and Netgear router

I'm constantly experiencing intermittant network/internet connectivity after booting my PC.

The computer icon in the bottom-right of my PC just shows an error icon. (see screenshot) If I boot my PC 4 or 5 times it eventually establishes a connection. When I click on the 'double-arrow' icon, it doesn't appear to do anything, no attempt to reconnect.

I've checked the router and all seems to be working.

Anyone know whats going on?

Did you try turning on the modem and the router before starting the computer?

Duh!, I never noticed the router takes about 10 seconds to establish a connection, starting the PC after that seems to have solved the problem, thanks a lot ski.
