Intermittent BSOD or just black screen

I built this PC for a friend and it seemed to run fine for about 6 months, now every few weeks it goes into an intermittent crash cycle. I've tried updating drivers, testing hard drive and ram etc and it seems to run ok for a while but eventually the crashing returns.

Its running win7 Home Prem 64bit

Can anyone help please?

everything looks ok there so moving right along. Pleas do the following:

Update your Bios It is incredibly old and this can cause a wide variety of problems including a number of different types of BSODs.

BIOS Release Date             09/03/2009

Next please uninstall AVG using the AVG removal tool and replace it with MSE and Mbam (this is for testing purposes only if it is found that AVG is not the problem you may reinstall it). Tip: when installing Mbam be sure to uncheck the box offering to start a free trial.

Lastly please run Memetest86+ for at least 8 passes if not more:

RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Tip: do this over night it will take a long time.

Done all this, memtest been running since last night and done over 10 passes without error.

then let your system run normally for a while and see if you are still experiencing a crashes.

Wasn't there any errors in the logs i posted?

If you updated your Bios it may have alleviated the BSOD if not post the new logs here and we can continue trouble shooting.

Still crashing every few days

The last crash dump as you uploaded is of 08-02-2013, so those are checked earlier.

Make it sure that crash dump recording is properly configured.

Go to Option Two, Point 2. Download the .reg file and merge it in registry by double clicking it.

Run Disc Cleanup (Start > All Programs> Accessories > System Tools > Disc CleanUp) to clean the old dumps; and wait for the next crash.

After the next crash, search the .dmp files manually in the default path: C:\Windows\Minidump or %SystemRoot%\Minidump. Post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

If you followed my last post (post #10 of this thread) properly .... it indicates that you haven't faced any BSODs lately, coz there are no crash dumps in the zip.

A disc cleaning program lick CCleaner ot TuneUp can clear the minidump folder. Do you use any such programs?

It isn't blue screening anymore, it freezes then re-boots randomly

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Stress test the CPU.
Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

Seatool for dos: SeaTools | Seagate download.
Burn it in a blank cd. boot from the CD, click on "Accept", wait for it to finish detecting the drives, then in the upper left corner select "Basic Tests", then select "Long Test" and let it run.

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy.

Is the PSU supplies adequate power? Make it sure.
