Not Genuine Now just black screen

Basically, I'm tired of plowing through posts that don't address my issue.
Activated Win 7 Ultimate on March 16 2017 with a Retail, unopened package. That license was activated and things have been humky dory until Yesterday. Suddenly the black Screen and the not genuine message. Now, after fiddly farting around with various suggestions on this site, i have the black screen, but NO error message on the bottom right. I suppose I'll have to call the 800 number tomorrow, and see what the hell's going on.
PRODUCT KEY BLOCKED err code 0xC004C003
So any input from you gurus as to why this would go black all of a sudden, and thoughts as to what i can try.
Did the re-enter product key, the automated / text link enter all these numbers; the slmgr-rearm rain dance; the stop services protect blah blah, a system restore to 11/12 ( update thngy) with a Freakon' failure that Maybe the antivirus got in the way.

Hi Justin Denial,

There are a couple of things that you can do first!

Out of curiosity, to make sure that it is not Malware causing the problem, download and run MalwareBytes [FREE] and do a full scan => MalwareBytes.

Please run this [MGADiag Tool from M$] for checking your possible activation problem => Windows Genuine and Activation Issue Posting Instructions.

This could also have been caused by a M$ WU.

12/1/18 edit - I can personalize the 'desktop' , we'll see if it sticks. the WiFi icon looks totally diff. re-Edit : Ya know, something else, I also changed the Prod Key in regedit, windows NT, 'because that didn't jive, Both the key in alpha field, and the binary field, and the beginning number in the hex dec field above that. Could be, also, part of the solution. ??? Haven't fired it up yet THIS PM, to see if all's still there. Yep. Had to re-"personalize" the desktop. hmm,

11/30 I blanked out more Product Key. And i did run latest Malware bytes 1st thing, way back when... Any help appreciated.

OK wait a minute - The first idiot who installed Win7 ultimate on this machine, over Vista, I'm guessing - did it with a copy already installed on his dad's machine. The friends shouldn't have loaned the laptop out in the first place. So I obtained an Un-Opened retail version and applied that key / ID to the registeration process and it took. Somewhere the first 'bad" Win 7 key, or maybe just the Vista key, is still hanging around and it triggers my Good key as not matching something else it has stored somewhere. Oh, and if you know where I could look / poke around - I'd like the hint...

However, How did my good license end up on M$ counterfeit key list. ?? That's irritating.
And Would they believe me if I called? What would they do about it. ?

Hi Justin,

W7 Ultimate is the most counterfieted program on the planet -fact
Thats why its taken so long for them, MS, to catch up

As for your 1st Ultimate install, (dads machine) - a true Retail copy can only be used on 1 comp at a time.
MSDN keys also have a limited number of activations, not sure but i believe 1000+, once thats exceeded they then get audited by MS, if they then deem its not being used by the <<<<original>>> owner they will block it. note these keys cost 1000's of $

The previous keys are of no interest to MS.

As for getting a replacement from MS follow the link i provided earlier, im quite happy for you to link this thread and your 2017 to your response, but as i said dont believe it will be W7 more likely W10
