Hi Guys,

It's a windows 7 home premium 64 bit new build pc. Very very carefully stuck together, very very carefully installed only the right drivers, very very carefully installed software to make sure nothing starts that I don't want starting and there are no lazy apps using up memory.

Windows 7 flies, it's a lovely machine now but occasionally I get a bsod at startup.

I've followed the instructions and added a zip file with all the outputs.

If someone could help out pointing me in the right direction that would be MUCH appreciated.

Cheers!
~Z

Hello zishan and welcome!

Realtek

Your Realtek Audio driver is the cause. Follow my little guide below to do a secure uninstall.

i) Find your driver here, save it to your desktop
ii) Download Driver sweeper, for the leftover files
iii) Uninstall the Realtek Driver from the Control Panel
iv) While rebooting, go into safe-mode without internet (tip: plugout your LAN cable or disconnect wireless)
v) Run Driver Sweeper, click the 'Realtek - Sound' component and analyse it
vi) Clean them all
vii) Head into Windows, without internet
viii) Install the Driver from the desktop

This would be our first step.

Hey hey! Brilliant, thank you for the swift response!
You have restored my faith in humanity.

I've followed your instructions and all seems to have gone through fine.

Upon reboot I didn't get any bsods but since it's intermittent I'll just give it a week or so and see if it happens again.

Thanks again matey.

Glad you haven't lost faith. :D
Your BSoD was fairly easy to analyse, so no problem mate.

Recurrence! MEMORY_MANAGEMENT 0x0000001a

Hello again.

That initial issue about IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL seems to have gone away but while in windows a couple of times now i've had a BSOD showing MEMORY_MANAGEMENT 0x0000001a.

I've attached the files so if anyoen can shed any light then that would be appreciated.

I'm running 2x2GB of DDR3 RAM OCZ Obsidian and I've taken the clock settings from the OCZ website. I've run MEMTEST for a couple of hours and it's run fine, no errors since I ensured all the clock values and voltages were correct. I'm not sure if it is a physical memory issue or some process running that's failing.

Thanks in advance!
~Z

Hmm, more BSODS but for different reasons

Okay here's an updated bsod analysis pack.
Can anyone please advise or send me in the right direction?

Much appreciated!
