Intermittent HP dv7 power problem

HP laptop dv7 almost two years old. Still under hardware waranty. In the past two months I had this problem. I don't happen all the time. Three times to be exact. Laptop will not turn on when I press the power button after shut down. Battery is fully charged. The only way I can turn laptop on is to remove the battery and plug it back in. The laptop will than turn on with the power button. The light around the touch comes on.
Any advice or should I take it in for repairs?

Hi R Fernandez.

Since it is still under waranty I would take it to them before you go messing with it. It could save you a lot of hassle
