Internal harddrive disconnects when copying small/large files

I have 4 internal hard drives connected to my computer (windows 7). I bought a new one to replace a smaller older model. The new model is 4 TO. The other 3 are 4 TO each as well. When copying files from one hard drive to the new one, it disconnects every time.

I tried to copy 1 gb and it still disconnected while I can copy 200gb+ without pb's on my other hard drives. It's the exact same model as the others (Seagate Barracuda) and I know for a fact that the PSU/Sata cable etc can both handle it and are working properly since my previous hard drives have no pb's whatsoever in that slot.

I checked the hard drive for errors using HD Tune and other software but none are detected and tried different slots.

I check many threads but couldn't find a single viable solution.

Hello Daegorvx-

What do you mean by "disconnected?" Please be specific and provide any error messages.

If you go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Disk Managegment, is the whole volume of the new drive allocated?

Also, is it shown as being formated to NTFS?

During small or large file transfers, the internal harddrive disconnects (like when you unplug a USB key) and I have to restart the computer for it to be recognized again.

I used HD Tune and Windows diagnostic tools to check for errors but nothing was found.

In Disk Management the file is correctly allocated and it's NTFS.

My power supply is more than enough to handle the hard drive. It's 880V.

Is that drive attached via a hub or is it connected directly to the mobo?
