Sorry, theres possibly a topic for this but Im losing my internet browsers at every 5 minutes. So by the time I search in the forum and find something, my internet is gone... :(

So here’s my problem:

Im running Win7 32. Since few months now, I lose my browsers. My internet connection is ok but I cant open any browers or online games. Most of the time, I lose it every 10 minutes or so, then it comes back. The problem is intermittent, it comes and goes. I was able to browse normally with any disconnections mostly all summer but last week it came back and now its worse than ever. I have run every possible anti malaware/virus. Tried every fix I could find on online forums (reset dns, ip config, etc…). Nothing worked.

When I reboot my pc, it takes between 2 to 4 hours before I can get an internet connection and when I get it, its unstable.

A Win7 reinstall is out of the picture. I really need help…

Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Review Jacee’s instructions to run Adwcleaner here post #7,
Ignore the title of the thread,
http://www.sevenforums.com/system-security/316404-instant-savings-app.html
Screen shot of the download button to use for Adwcleaner
You can use these free tools to see if they find anything,
Manually Update them before running full scans,
Try not to use your computer while the scans are running, (one at a time of course).
See this tutorial on how to download and run Malwarebytes,
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/338716-malwarebytes-anti-malware-free.html
Also use the Custom scan option not the Threat scan,

Please Do Not clean/ Delete or Remove Any detections before posting the scan results first before review especially Malwarebytes,
http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
SAS is safe to remove anything it finds ;)
http://www.superantispyware.com/?tag=SUPERANTISPYWARE
This one is the longest up to 4 hours, the others are only about 45 minutes,

Hi,
Uninstall Adwcleaner and re-install it to get a fresh copy,
Make sure you manually update mbam and check the box to scan for rootkits in Settings/ Detection and Protection ;)
This could take a while to scan with rootkits activated :)

Hi there! :) Adwcleaner? not yet because after removing the files, I will need to restart my pc. As I said, everytime I reboot it takes from 2 to 4 hours before I get internet back. My connection is ok but I cant browse :( Should I reboot anyway or run Superantispyware before? And thanks so much for your help!... :)

Yes restart,
Then run mbam again and see if it comes up clean,
sas is great yes after running mbam again run sas,
If it finds a bunch of stuff remove them possibly reboot again,

End the day with Hitman Pro ;)
Then Reset all of your browsers,

Then reset your modem/ router,
You can also test resetting your modem/ router during restart after cleaning ;)
Cheers.

Unfortunately, after 7 hours of cleaning/repairing/removing… nothing worked. :(

1. Removed mbam infected files.
2. Reboot pc and reset modem during reboot.
3. As usual, no internet connection after reboot. So couldn’t run mbam or any other cleaning apps
4. Tried to run adwcleaner/administrator mode. It failed, got the same error
5. Ran TCPIP reset.bat cmd. Took forever because I was unable to right click to run as administrator… bad Win explo lag… argh. For some unknown reasons, it takes about an hour before Win7 loads completely. The first 20 minutes after reboot, I can only open files on my desktop. My 2 drives (C + D) aren’t available.
6. Reboot after reset.bat and reset the modem again
7. Same thing: no connection and VERY slow Win7 load.
8. Called my internet provider he told me that my internet connection is perfect, modem reset and the problem comes from my pc… duh.
9. Finally got a network and internet connection and ran mbam and SuperAntiSyware found nothing.
10. Ran HitmanPro. Found few files… not considered as threats though.
11. Reboot pc to get rid of the stuff HitmanPro found.
12. Waited an hour because of slow Win7 load… again... sigh.
13. Reset browsers to default settings. Its worse! Before, I was losing internet every 10 minutes or so and it stayed connected around 20 minutes. Now, when its back, its for 4-5 minutes then it takes 30/40 minutes for any browsers to load… and Win7 is horribly slow now… :(

Sigh… really don’t know what to do next. The more Im trying to fix this the worse it gets...

Ps: tried to restore at a specific point but it failed… got a root error.

Shut down your machine,
Power up and Tap the F8 key continuously until you see a black page with white text,
Use the down arrow key to toggle to safe mode with networking/ hit the enter key.
Login as usual and test the issue.
