I normally use Firefox or Chrome for browsing the web, but recently I tried to play a game called League of Legends that inherits properties from Internet Explorer in order to connect to servers. League of Legends would always time out on the connection, so I did some investigating on IE and found out that the problem was more fundamental.
Essentially, every time I try to access an https website on IE, it will remain on a white screen indefinitely with the tab saying, "Waiting for <website name>". Http websites work perfectly normally. Https sites, however, include any login, and therefore it is impossible to log into anything in my Internet Explorer. As an additional detail, I have noted that this only occurs when I have TLS activated in IE options; if they are off and SSL is enabled instead, I can access https pages (like Google), but still cannot log in since login requires TLS.
I have tried a number of things to rectify this problem:
I am using Windows 7 64-bit and currently IE11 is installed. Any ideas are appreciated!

I have tried a number of things to rectify this problem:
- Reset IE
- Deleted IE History
- Reinstalled IE entirely through the control panel
- Registered some *.dll files
- Checked my firewall
- Cleared any proxies
- Changed my DNS to Google's rather than my ISP's
