Internet Explorer stops working after a few uses - I have to reboot my PC to get the internet working again. I have no internet, even with Halo or other online MP games. Its REALLY annoying, what is going on?

Is it really just internet explorer, or does it affect other applications (like Firefox, for example) that don't use wininet for network connectivity?

Anything that uses the internet. Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, and any and all multiplayer pc games

also, when I use google, and click on a link it redirects me to bogus sites and it looks like the same site every time with a different name

That almost sounds like malware. Have you considered scanning your machine offline when booted with Microsoft safety scanner? I would strongly recommend it.

Yes I have run Malwarebytes three times in safe, mode and the problems have diminished but not dissapeared.

Run from a USB stick, the Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper.

After that stay away from torrent sites.
Stay away from Peer to Peer sites.
Do not use cracked software.

Download System Sweeper (about 576 kB):
https://connect.microsoft.com/systemsweeper

Insert 256 MB or larger USB stick into a usb port.
Run the downloaded program--mssstool64.exe or mssstool32.exe
Choose the option to install to USB.
Caution: The install program will format the usb stick.

The install program will download about 200 mB more.
After the install is finished, leave the stick in the usb slot.

Run the program you downloaded once again.
This 2nd run, and any subsequent runs, will download the very latest anti-virus definitions (about 60 mB).

To keep System Sweeper up-to-date, simply reinsert the usb stick and run the installation program, mssstool64.exe or mssstool32.exe, again.

The initial, full scan by System Sweeper can easily take several hours, but subsequent quick scans will be shorter.
Remember, your computer is being very thoroughly checked for all types of malware.

The results of System Sweeper will be in:
\Windows\Standalone System Sweeper\Support as one or more files with a LOG extension which can be viewed with Notepad.

I downloaded it and then I restarted and I couldnt even get to the logon screen on my pc I had to do a complete system recovery! WTH!

Sounds like you've caught a nasty virus that's infected your whole PC. Only solution here would probably be to reinstall Windows entirely. If that doesn't work, you'll just have to get a new PC.

Karlsnooks is right here, if online cleaning doesn't work, you'll have to clean it offline from a bootable USB stick or CD/DVD. Note that doing so *can* cause issues with your PC if the malware is particularly nasty or has tentacles deep into the OS, so caveat emptor. However, if malwarebytes and other scanners have found things, you do indeed need to verify your machine is *completely* clean of viruses and malware, and the only way to do this for certain is to do it offline with the OS not running.
