Internet faster in Safe Mode, slower in "normal mode"

As title says, my internet in safe mode with network activity is 10x times faster than in normal mode, i've removed a lot of services but the problem insists.

'Safe Mode with Networking'??

Many background services - including the AV, which does a lot of work in normal mode surfing - don't run in Safe mode, whether with or without Networking.

AVG is regarded by some (including me) as a bit of a resource hog - and could be the main culprit here - especially if you're short on RAM. (How much RAM do you have installed? - please put more details in your System profile)

HiJackThis can't cope with 64-bit systems properly - and the log is next to useless.


Please downloadand install Malwarebytes Anti-malware(free version) from http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/- UNtick 'Enable free trial of MBAM PRO' at the end of the installation - and update it, then run a full scan in your main account, and Quick scans in anyother user accounts.



Delete everythingit finds - and attach the log to your reply.
