Go to hardware, find your networkcard rightclick, properties, and go to energy tab, set "can save power" option off.

Good luck

Not sure if you had this issue before, or if you just got a new router. Check in your router and see if there is a idle time setting, if there is,m change it to keep connected. I know netgears have them. What type of router do you have?

Did my tip work?

The Linksys seems unlikely if you never had it before you installed the 7600.
Linksys by default is on powersaving off.

Hm. It worked for the first day but im getting the same problem again. This is strange because I have no issues when im on the computer surfing the web/emailing/messaging but if im watching a movie or leave the computer idle for longer than an hour it drops the internet signal.

Could this be my internet provider? Im with RoadRunner cable service. Im getting tire of resetting the cable modem to get the signal back.

Thanks for the help fellas.
