Hmmm, ran CMD.exe as administrator, copied and pasted "powercfg -lastwake" after C:\Users\bert> and got an immediate "Invalid Parameters -- try "/?" for help.
Didn't even get a chance to hit the enter key after lastwake.
Tried it a few more times. Nothing.
Typing /? gets me '/?' is not recognized .....

Windows 7 home premium 64 bit.

Anyone still watching this thread? Please help, I'm stumped.

Sounds like something in the environment variables is messed up as far as your path is concerned to cmd.exe I just ran that "powercfg -lastwake" and it came up perfectly..Do other commands work through cmd.exe like ipconfig / all and stuff like that?

Thanks for your quick reply. Just restarted the machine and this time lastwake works!?! And of course ipconfig works too. Not sure how that happened but at least it's working now.
