Can someone hack me easily if they know my I.P?

your modem and routers likely have built in firewalls. HOWEVER it is possible it's just a matter of who has your I.P. address on rather or not you should be concerned.

Like above posts have said,
You are usually OK, If somebody has your IP address they just can't type in and get control over your system. (It's not that easy)

I have a router with built in firefall. I am not to sure whether my modem has or not.
