Hello,
I just got a Bose Bluetooth speaker and when I try to install BT drivers for it I get an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD crash. Then, Windows reboots and posts an error window saying that 2 files can help describe the problem: a minidump and an xml file.
Here is the procedure that leads to the issue:
-> open the BT device window from BT tray icon -> add a device -> the Bose speaker is there as I made it detectable -> select and click <next> -> here, Windows Update searches and apparently finds 2 drivers -> the first one loads ok but during installation of the 2nd one, I get the BSOD.
I am attaching the zip generated by dm log collector...
Thanks in advance!

When I search for BIOS and driver updates for your model, it seems there are no updates for Windows 7.

But there maybe a possible solution, if you haven't tried it.
Before installing the drivers, open the sound manager from control panel and disable every device (right click > disable). After the sound devices have been disabled, try installing the drivers.

Because a few days ago patchday tuesday was up, it is possible a driver involved with this could have been changed in how it works causing the problem, but I can't say for sure. I'm bringing this up, because a Windows bluetooth audio driver has been flagged in the crashes
Driver Reference Table - BthAvrcpTg.sys

If you haven't tried it yet, please run sfc/scannow.

Diagnostics Test

 System File Check

Please try following:
  • Open an admin command prompt
  • Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
  • When it finished reboot your system
  • Open again an admin command prompt
  • Enter sfc/scannow again
If sfc/scannow does NOT say "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation", please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.

BthAvrcpTg.sys: does this mean a fix (update?) might come up?
