OK i have all ways used a sound card over the on board sound. I upgraded my PC and tried to install my pcie sound card and the mic input comes up as a line in with no mic boost or volume control. I looked online and this problem getting the best of me any one have a sounblaster x-fi ex extreme audio card and have this problem.
