I have a specific black and white photo with one person in it.
Is there software that will allow me to search for that photo potentially identifying the person?

Google includes an "Image" search as part of their standard searches in Chrome, I do not know if the algorithms used will find other images including a specific person, but it may be a place to start.

There is an issue with any sort of search that works with people, so it could be that although it is possible it may not be available for general use

Awesome, glad to hear it. Out of curiosity, was it one of the websites I listed or something else? You don't have to answer if you don't want to.

I gotta say, that photo is pretty surreal in my opinion. The look on the face -- well, a picture is worth a thousand words...

I never served, almost joined the Navy, and by that I mean the recruiter was ready to take me off center in Job Corp, but at the last second I chickened out. I kinda kick myself now since I feel like I should have served. If I could go back in time it be the Air Force though, not the Navy. While I was in JROTC in high school I thought of pursing a carrier as a Green Bert. But the choice of dinner out in the field wasn't very appetizing. :D Always had a fascination for the dangerous bastard stuff so to speak. Read many books on the CIA and what not. Thought of being a CIA field agent if I were a Green Bert. But, when you get older you kinda get smarter and there's that. What I mean by that is CIA work or special operator work is damn extraordinary dangerous beyond what most may know. Just typing this now I'm pretty sure our special operators are doing some stuff that is pretty crazy. Another great book that touches base on this stuff is Surprise, Kill, Vanish by Annie Jacobsen. I've also read Inside Delta Force by Eric Haney. He was a founding father of Delta force. Very interesting stuff in that book. He was also involved with the Iranian hostage situation so if anyone is doing research on that subject I'd read that chapter as a source. I really like that guy's thinking, and I've seen him years ago in media circles. I too don't need an alarm clock to wake up... :D Maybe it is that "nomad thing."




Barry Sadler's story is very interesting.

This guy died in the town I reside in now. Very fascinating guy.
