Seems abit long for a SSD. Use ReBoot to time your reboot time. Enable automatic logon. Your POST is pretty fast, so it won't be a factor. Also, go to

Computer - Properties - Performance Information and Tools - Advance tools

Then look for boottime and paste it here.

I just installed a new Intel SSD MLC-80GBG2, and my boottime was 83 seconds.

I've often wondered why POST should count against Windows boot time. If I understand the process correctly Windows can't do anything until the hand-off from BIOS. What am I missing?

Windows Boot timer 1.0

This utility is Windows Boot timer. Simply double click on the executable & upon restart, it will display the time taken by your computer to load windows. It does not take into effect the time taken to go through BIOS or BIOS bootup password. It takes the time from the instant BIOS starts loading Windows.

Download windows Boot timer and application Launch Timer
