Roger that.

All I see on the window from the second scan is: "Malwarebytes Cleanup." Then there are "previous" & "exit" buttons from which to choose. On the left-hand side of the window are these choices:
Introduction
Update
Scan
Cleanup (boldface)
I cannot click on any of them. Where will I find the logs? Nothing on my desktop, either.

Oops. Never mind! I had an inspiration & found them in "My Documents." I'll see about getting them uploaded now.

OK. I can't copy/paste this, and if I use the snipping tool, won't it be too small for y'all to read?

Both reports say that no malicious threats were found, but the initial window that opens after the scan says in red letters that one item was found. Strange?

Oh, no. This is so humiliating.... I went to check my email, and now the window is lost. I forgot to minimize it. I don't even remember what it said -- whether it was a Trojan or what. I just thought it was odd. Do you want me to re-scan?

I hope!!

Please run MBAR once again. If it finds anything, press Cleanup, and after the cleanuo is done, restart the computer.

Then post the new mbar-log report.

If it finds nothing, then, you do not need to clean up. Just post the new mbar-log results.

I'm being stopped again by the Windows security scan that pulls up the 3/22/13 mbar file.

Should I try to delete that file? And should I be running the scan from my desktop?

I am having a Groundhog's Day experience. I delete the mbar file from 3/22. I am asked if I want to delete the file. Yes, I do. It disappears. I go back to the download. The Windows security scan runs. The page containing the mbar file from 3/22 reappears. I do the whole thing over. And over. And over. I can't kill it. It refuses to leave. Why?

I decided to click on "extract," which I found by pure accident. I ended up getting rid of 3/22, only then to have mbar 5/10, 5/11, & 5/12 all on one page, but still stopping me from running the scan once detected by Windows security.

Can you post an image of what happens?

I'm not understanding what is happening. Don't know if it is malware that is not allowing the program to run, or what is going on, since mbar 5/10, 5/11, and 5/12 do not make any sense.

Also, what brand name, model/number computer is this? Don't remember if I asked this before.

The 5/10. etc. are the dates I ran this scan while working with you -- I think! When I extracted the 3/22/13 mbar file, I had to choose where to put it, so it went into my documents. I thought maybe it would be "out of the way" of the security scan. Not.

All that I see is a manila file envelope that says "mbar." Inside are the same kinds of files that I posted earlier when I couldn't cut & paste the information for you. I still have that problem. I can type the contents of the folder for you if that would be helpful.

I have an HP Pavilion p2-1120 PC. I have chosen not to add on all of the HP "enhancements" and am running regular home premium Windows 7 & IE9.

How long ago did you get this computer?

From what I found, it is a Desktop. Is that correct?

How do you feel about doing a Factory Reset?

It emoves all partitions, reformats the entire hard drive, reinstalls the original operating system, and reinstalls all the original hardware drivers and software. This option also reinstalls the required software. The Factory Reset option returns all the software to the condition it was in at the time of purchase. All user changes or additions are removed.

I got it last summer -- August, I think. Replaced a Dell laptop. What would happen to all of my stuff? I backed up after the computer guy finished with it, but I am wondering if the back-up might also be infected. It would take me a long time to get everything written down, but I am willing to do whatever you think is best.
