Solved Is this PC a good build?

So i've been wanting to make a build for quite a long time now and now i thought it was the right time. So basiclly this a gaming rig and rendering. Rendering should not be a problem because i can render on my crappy laptop that is a complete diaster. Anyways here is the build Laith225 - Saved Part Lists - PCPartPicker
Im wondering if i should worry about the PSU sending more wattage then the PC will be taking and also should i worry about the note that says
"Some Intel H81 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Haswell Refresh CPUs."?

I'd get rid of the H81 motherboard and replace it with an H97 motherboard. Then you shouldn't have to worry about that warning about the H81 chipset.

If you get a dedicated graphics card as Devlin suggests, you'll probably have to upgrade the power supply. Seasonic is a good brand, but 300 watts probably won't be enough if you get a mid-level video card.

No, you don't have to worry about "the PSU sending more wattage then the PC will be taking". The PC will take only what it needs, assuming the PSU can supply it.

I'd ditch the $90 headphones if it helps you stay within your budget. That $90 is better spent elsewhere--video card, power supply, motherboard.

The 4590 is OK for the CPU.

i would probably go with a good solid branded 650W PSU, it futureproofs your system in terms of future upgrades.
If your 100% sure you need a good solid set of headphones, Im more than happy to recommend a cheaper but still amazing pair, i rely on headphones a lot due to being an avid CS player.
Something like 270/270x would be a great card for this system, or if you prefer nvidia, a GTX970 or something around that ballpart.

@Delvin My budget is $900 total.
And the video card is gone because my uncle is going to give one to me. An NIvidia GeForce 4GBVRAM. More than that he haven't said. But he said it is good for gaming. I also upgraded the case because the motherboard wasn't compatibale with it. About the headphones i picked a good looking headphones from logitech with mic(which is perfect). What should i do now? Does it look solid?

Edit: I also upgraded the monitor because i like Acer more than ASUS and the monitor is much cheaper. Also does this motherboard have built-in WiFi or do i need to buy a card?

You could get the XFX XTR 550 watt PSU and save $20 or so.

Put the saved money in your pocket or upgrade your case, case fans, or cooler. Cases are personal preference and maybe a cheap case is fine with you. I've never heard of that case brand, but I assume you like the way it looks.

I guess you are not overclocking. That's fine. The included Intel cooler will work OK too, but will be noisy when it spins up to a high speed. You could upgrade the cooler for $30 or $40, but if you aren't bothered by noise, maybe those dollars are better spent elsewhere.

Can't help you with the monitors.

It looks pretty good generally without knowing details of the video card.

Yeah the details of the card are pretty much essential here as your building a gaming rig. If you can get the model info from your uncle it would be a great help

Okay i will do that. When i get the info from my uncle i will edit this post. But is the monitor good or bad? If it is bad i will defintely follow your recommendiations, because i want a stable and good PC. Which cooler do you prefer? And also you didn't answer my question, does the motherboard have bulit-in WiFi or do i need to buy a card? And about the case, i want to get one cheap dosen't matter how it looks.

Yeah the monitor looks quite decent but please remember its over 4 years old from release. Best Monitors 2015 Round-up - Samsung S24D590PL - Trusted Reviews I'd go with this one, rated one of the best cheaper gaming monitors for last year, pretty much exactly the same in price wise and im sure you can get one in sweden no problems, As for the motherboard, I've read that it says it has built in wifi, but after reading several reviews, a lot are bringing up that it doesn't infact, have build in wifi so my guess is a card would be needed.

Do you have a link to the vendor or vendors you will be using in Sweden? Maybe we can steer you to a better cheap case.

No need for you to get a new cooler if you don't care about noise and don't overclock. The standard cheap cooler replacement recommendation if you decide to replace the stock Intel cooler would be the Coolermaster 212 Hyper Evo. It's around $30 in the USA and does a pretty good job, but it's not necessary.

Nah, i dont care which vendor. I upgraded the harddrive because i felt unsecure having 1TB. I felt unsecure because i might have slightly more data than 1TB. I have added the card to the list. My uncle said he would look at it tomorrow but he said something with NIvidia GeForce 610 something.

If its a GT610 then i would 100% recommend buying a new card as that one is outdated and pretty much wont play anything now

Well i hope it is a good card not outdated. If it is outdated then i will have to cut out somethings and that will not be good, because i want a monster/beast computer. And the compoments i have is pretty good for me. But if it is that card ill have to accept it and cut down some things.

The 4GB you mentioned doesn't make sense though because its a very low card and i dont think they made a 4gb version, just wouldn't make sense, the list of that series of card goes like this From best to worst, and the one your uncle has(If it is that one) then it is 2nd bottom. Things like gtx660 are struggling with games nowadays.

Do you need to pay for the OS out of that $900? [trying to move an old OEM system to a new one, not likely to go well]

You are going to be able to have this rig wired (CAT5e/6) to the router NOT WIRELESS, right? (WiFi is not ideal for gaming .) [That connector is on a motherboard]

That monitor included really makes it impossible to get a nice gaming rig without cutting corners.

You remove that monitor and put in a Radeon R9-280X video card and perhaps in business. 8)

I have already a Win7 disc so i don't need to pay for the OS. As for the WiFi i must have it because im not gonna have my router near me because it is gonna be connected to the livingroom TV. But this what i expect. I must move to my new house and see what is going to happen. But im gonna get a free Video card from my uncle... A nice one too.
