Hey guys, My windows7 dont really want to cooperate with me right now.
I'll show you with some pictures.
This is how I want it, with my rocketdock on top of my taskbar.

But when I open my startmenu the taskbar will go on top of rocketdock even though I have selected always on top in rocketdocks settings.

So now I'd like to know if it's possible to keep the taskbar at the bottom?

EDIT: So... I tried to deactivate the "always on top" thingy for the taskbar, but that is even more annoying when for example my browser is overlaping it and I get the dock icons in the bottom of the browser. I want the taskbar fully visible with the dock on top of it.
So how can I force rocketdock to always stay on top of the taskbar without any visible changes?

Try ObjectDock. IMO, it's better than RocketDock.

Stardock ObjectDock

Thx for the reply, even though objectdock didnt solve my problem.
Objectdock actually never overlaped the taskbar at all, it just stayed underneath all the time.

Take a look at this picture.

I want my dock to overlap the taskbar as it does in XP, but in windows 7 the taskbar overlaps the dock everytime I open the startmenu.

This is how I want to have it

But it's not really working that great when the taskbar overlaps the dock and I have to move the entire taskbar to get it back every time I open the startmenu. Samurize stays on top, so it's kinda wierd that the dock falls down every time.

use DesktopCoral to keep both taskbar and the dock on top

Thx for replying, but DesktopCoral didnt really do what I wanted.
It just reserved some space at the desktop so I can keep my dock always visible somewhere at the screen. I'll use DesktopCoral until someone comes with a better solution though.

As you see, it takes extra space, and it doesnt look as good as having it on top of the taskbar.

EDIT: oh damn, DesktopCoral may be what I need after all.
If i deactivate always on top for the taskbar, then reserve the space with desktopcorel to keep windows from overlaping it.
But now I got a new problem, I cant find the always on top setting in the taskbar options.
And I found a pretty old thread at this forum where they said the feature had been removed, has anyone come up with a new way to deactivate always on top for the taskbar yet?

haha waking this from the dead, i know it is from 2009, but my method is make rocketdock to keep on top, and also use popup on mouseover so yeah it dissapears when i click the taskbar, but it reapears when i put my mouse at the bottom of the screen where it is.
