Issue with Recording after Waking from Sleep/Hibernate

I am having strange issues using the AVERTVHD Duet. Everything works fine
when I manually kick off a recording using Windows Media Center. I can watch
TV fine etc. If I put the System to sleep then wake it back up manually
everything is still OK.

The problem is when the system wakes itself from sleep to perform a recording.
The system wakes up records the program and then goes back to sleep. However
when I go to watch the video it is complete garbage. It is choppy half
missing and audio is all screwed up.

I have all the latest BIOS, Chip-set, Graphics, and Tuner drivers. Also I have checked
for all the various windows updates which would effect this. I have also gone
through several configurations around Sleep and Hibernation to see if that
would fix the problem to no avail. The problem also happens if I use
Hibernate instead of Sleep.

Best I can tell something isn't starting when system wakes itself but does
start when I wake it via the keyboard. Any help ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Is that a USB tuner? I had issues with my USB tuner. Something about how the USB hubs wake up or something.

One other thing to check is the power management for USB devices.

In device manager under USB check the properties of the USB Root Hub(s). Disable the allow windows to shut down option
