Issues with Bluetooth settings not saving.

I've recently got a CSR Bluetooth chip. It installed properly as far as I can tell. The problem however is, that when I go to change setting to allow my comp to be detectable it tells me "An error occurred while Windows was saving your settings. The Bluetooth device might be unplugged.

The following settings were not saved:

Discoverability settings
Connection settings"

How do I get it to stop glitching the save on this?

Have you tried to Disable the Bluetooth Device ? ....

I, hit your link. I can't tell if it gave the needed info however. I may end up reposting when I'm sure. But yes... assuming it did, I must ask how one does a few things. The device does show in the manager, And when I tried to access Bluetooth settings through it the above error stops me from saving the settings as I wish to do. As for your next question, I actually hadn't thought of that and do not know exactly how to go about doing it.

What is the Model Number of the Bluetooth Card that you have ? ...

I only have the Bluetooth dongle, if that's what you mean... I'm not sure. It's a CSR Bluetooth chip. I'd need help to find the model number.

Select the Device right click and select Disable ....

I've gone to the Device manager, found the chip, and when I right click on it, there isn't an option to disable it. I have Bluetooth Settings, Creat shortcut, Troubleshoot, and Properties. Am I in the wrong location to attempt to disable it or is there something actually wrong here?
