Every year we get a light dusting of snow and the country falls apart, TBH it just seems like an excuse for people to take a day off.

Well, our school has lots of transport closing because of maybe heavier snow in those parts than where i am. also, some trains have stopped because of the rails.

In my entire time at school it never once closed due to weather, these days a few inches of snow falls and everything shuts down.

Health & Safety has turn the country soft.

Maybe you could take them to court.

Haven't replied all day, but once i got outside this morning, i discovered that only certain parts were 1 inch high in snow, the rest was about 10 -15 cm's and in the afternoon lots of heavy snow, and had a little fun wading through the cold slush

I will...
better than ict at school - we are meant to learn how to use the internet properly... it bores me to the death! There's this kid in class who reckons he knows he knows more than anybody else in the class, when all he really does is put a few powerpoint presentations up with ridiculous amounts of animations, which he just plops in there :sarc:

We had Abacus, but still did not keep us warm during winter in Europe.
