hello folks, wondering if anyone can tell me how the search box which should appear above the Start button might be recovered - mine has gone awol, which is a tad annoying
AND
I have added some games to a library, and now want to put another one in, but can't remember how I did it, and can't find any 'add' options in the relevant menus.

Can you help please?

For the search box, from what you stated it sounds like you went to Control Panel > Uninstall a Program > Turn Windows features on or off, and selected the box to remove Windows Search. (I'm not at my Windows 7 PC right now so I can't give a screen shot)

I think you have hit the button; I went into CP and the features option and Search wasn't ticked, so have ticked it and am confident that indeed it will appear on next boot. Thank you very much
