Java Installed on W7 x64 Home

Even after installing Java, Applets do not run.
OR
Available to do a Java Version Test on browsers
Explorer
Firefox
Chrome

These website asking me to have installed Java:
NVIDIA

Asking me to install below version:

jre-8u161-windows-x64

I don’t know what the differences between the one being installed version VS one needed to be installed?

I have provided images from version installed and browser I have

If NVIDIA is asking for a 64-bit version of Java then go ahead and install it as you are using a 64bit OS and NVIDIA needs that too

Are you running a script blocker with your browser, such as NoScript with Firefox? If so, then the script blocker may be blocking Java from running. Tell it to allow scripts to run whenever you see this message.

ABP adblock plus

The default Internet Explorer in Windows 7 x64 is the 32 bit version. You should install the 32 version of JAVA as well as the 64 bit version.
