JPEG's Will not open

I created a QR code, saved it as a JPEG and sent it to a colleague. I thought I would check it out to make sure it was the right size so after I had sent it, I tried to open it, but all I got is showing on the screen shot. Can anyone tell me what is going on please??

Sorry about that, I have taken the shots again, A is when I try to open the pictures and B is the icon showing in the attachment box.

I suspect I have done something to change who opens jpegs and TIFF files etc but I don't know how to re set it back to the default setting.

I lived in Stewarton, Ayshire for 30 years, had quite a good Scotts accent when I came back down to the south.

Hi RonBin79, your images are not very helpful. Got to your mail, 'Sent Items' folder and open your file attachment and post it correctly. Read this:-

JPEGS Wont open

I have done exactly as you asked and the screen shots are attached. The JPEG icon doesn't look right at all which leads me to believe I have altered something which is mucking it all up. When I double click on the icon, all I get is a screen which says Loading... and nothing happens. I can however PREVIEW the picture so I have no idea what the problem is. Sorry I cannot provide any better information, but if you tell me exactly what it is you want, I will certainly do my level best to helpo.

Hi you might want to open the screen shots in Microsoft Paint and remove or erase the email addresses

My second thought would be to put the file in a zip folder and send it that way to your colleague,

Dave, what options show if you right click the arrowed file ? if it has properties, click it and post it.

jpegs wont open

Nothing shows up Dave, there aren't any Properties but as Isaid in an earlier post, all is well now, the info SundRance gave me has done the trick.
