Ok here, I want to reformat my pc and here's my question. I got 2 disc which names was disk C and disk D,My system disk was disk C if i reformat my pc now does disk D will be erased or affected?

D should not be affected if you make the right choices during the reinstallation (I guess that is what you are going to do?).

But you should back up whatever is on D in case something goes wrong. I'm guessing D is where you may have data?

Yes all my apps,files,etc was on D. And btw idk how to back up :) And one more thing u said dat D will not be affected when i reformat my pc if i chose the the right choices uhmm. idk what will i do if i'm in the installation does i only click disk c AND delete it and click next?

I have the same partition C and D drive and the installation always write on drive C. I had previously made a back up of my files on D drive, but the installation didn't erase any files.

You can back up your important data from D by simply using the mouse and copying folders and files to another drive (probably external) or to a USB thumb drive. Or you could even use a DVD. The point is to protect yourself from data loss if something goes wrong during the installation attempt---such as formatting the wrong partition and wiping out everything on the D partition.

ok now i get D will not be affected and i just learn how to back up thanks a lot really help ! ;)

Ps: I'm really noob at Pc :( Sorry for some silly questions :)
