Keep desktop icons from moving

I set the desktop icon in a logical order,but.
Every time I reboot or startup ,one or two of them have moved to a different location.
How do I keep them from moving around on boot?

See if this helps:

1. Right click on an empty part of the desktop and choose the 'View' option

2. Make sure that 'Align to grid' is checked and that 'Auto Arrange Icons' is unchecked

You could also uncheck both Align to grid and Auto arrange. Put the icons where/wheir you want them and refresh the desktop. They should stay where/wheir you put them.

I think both answers helped. At least they were in place this morning on start-up.
