Could someone please read my Minidump file for me and tell me what caused my computer to crash? I don't know how to read minidumps and I'm not sure if I could read it anyway.

My computer
HP p6230y
AMD Phenom II x4 810
Windows 7 64 Bit
HIS Radeon 5750
8GB DDR3
750GB HD

PLEASE HELP ME!! I really appreciate it. My computer has crashed a few times with the same kernel power event 41 task 63 error within the last month.

Today I was playing Fallout 3 for a couple hours and it crashed.

Please help me find out what caused it.

I have attached a RAR file with the minidump file inside.

Thanks...

This event just tells you did a hard reset to revive your box after a crash or freeze - unfortunately there are no errors when the system is freezing.

Usually it's the application(s) running at that very time..keep an eye on temperatures of the video card and system - maybe overheating?

OK.

I know that this video card HD Radeon 5750 (5000 series) is new and there has been a lot of issues with this series of cards and Windows 7 64 bit. Could this be a possible problem as to why I got a Kernel Power event 41 task 63 crash? (Computer went gray screen and then shutdown and rebooted by itself- I had to choose to start windows normally).

power supply

i hate to burst your bubble but that power supply is not gonna do it for a quad core cpu and that video card it does not have enough amps on the +12 volt rail I think it's only rated at 19 or 20 amps you need double that and on a single rail not a dual rail system
